Minister's Welcome
Australians ask questions about spirituality. Some people wonder about the reality of God or the nature of spirituality or about ultimate reality. Others have questions about how to connect or live with God in their daily lives. Jesus does not want us to be confused and provides answers. He say’s, “Come to me all of you who are burdened and heavy laden and I will give you rest”.
If you feel like this, I once did too; I had so many questions and looked in many places for answers. I tried Eastern religions, New Age, Astrology, Theosophy and the Occult. I used alcohol and drugs to try and ease my inner tensions - and things went from bad to worse.
However, when I came to Jesus he healed me on the inside. He has taken away my burdens and sorrows, and the shame I felt from the mistakes I made. He also answered my questions. Now I have a deep personal peace and am connected to God in a wonderful way. He helps me to live life much better than before. Previously I felt very lost and a prisoner to many things but now Jesus has rescued me.
